Steaming
Mugs…A steam of Happiness!!
The cafe is determined to become a daily necessity for local coffee addicts, a
place to dream of as you try to escape the daily stresses of life and just a
comfortable place to meet your friends or to read a book, all in one. With the
growing demand for high-quality gourmet coffee and great service, we will
capitalize on its proximity to the Youths to build a core group of repeat
customers. We offer our customers the best prepared coffee in the area that
will be complimented with pastries, as well as free books that its patrons can
read to enjoy their visit.
The
Menu Is Written On An Old Schoolhouse Chalkboard: The menu offers a variety of cold cut
sandwiches, warm soups and pastas, desserts, coffee and tea. The most popular
item on the menu is the Pepper Fredo, made for vegetarians but delicious to
all. A mixture of green, yellow, and red peppers with onions and a creamy
Alfredo sauce make this a wonderful, smooth meal. The peppers and onions are
subtle, mostly giving way to the creamy sauce. The meal is served with two
slices of lightly toasted bread. I quickly discovered how each spoonful of the
soup is not complete without a bite of toast to go with it.
Although
not the most popular menu item, once you should try is the Spicy Chili Beans.
The Spicy Chili Beans were spicy enough to give me a tingle, which means it is probably
more than enough for the average diner. Served with a stack of saltine
crackers, the saltiness combined with four types of beans made each serving
feel like a complete meal. The chili was thick, flavorful, and served warm. But
if you are not one for trying spicy foods, you can also get these chili beans
without the spiciness for a more regular bowl of food sure to warm your tummy.
